TÉRMINOS Y CONDICIONES

KOYER RENT A CAR confirma categorías de vehículos y NO modelos, colores ni marcas específicos.

Requisitos de arriendo

  1. Cedula de identidad / pasaporte vigente.
  2. Licencia de conducir vigente.
  3. Conductor mayor de 23 años.
  4. Tarjeta de crédito para efectos de garantía. Tarjetas de Crédito aceptadas: Visa, Mastercard, American Express y Diners; el titular de la tarjeta de crédito deberá estar presente al momento del retiro del vehículo y debe contar con licencia de conducir vigente.
  5. La tarjeta de crédito deberá tener un cupo disponible de $600.000 CLP para efectos de la garantía.
  6. Voucher Manual firmado en blanco al inicio del arriendo como comprobante de la garantía, por posibles siniestros y/ adicionales no incluidos en la tarifa.
  7. Esta documentación es obligatoria independientemente del tipo de pago de la reserva.
  8. Los datos ingresados para generar la reserva son de completa y estricta responsabilidad del cliente, al igual que el medio de pago utilizado, en caso de que aplicase.

Incluido en la tarifa

  1. Kilometraje libre.
  2. Segundo conductor sin costo.

Exclusiones

  1. Un deducible de UF40 + IVA aplica en todo el país y a toda categoría de vehículo en caso de robo, hurto, apropiación indebida o pérdida total de la unidad arrendada.
  2. Un deducible de UF30 + IVA aplica en todo el país y a toda categoría de vehículo en caso de daños propios al vehículo.
  3. Quedan excluidos los daños a neumáticos y cámaras a no ser que provengan de daño indemnizable al resto del vehículo.
  4. Quedan excluidos los daños a los parabrisas, en caso de daño al mismo se debe pagar la totalidad del mismo.
  5. Conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol y/o drogas no accede a ninguna cobertura (para mayor información, ver nuestro Anexo de Contrato).
  6. Conductores no incorporados y/o especificados en el contrato de arriendo involucrados en un sinestro: no acceden a ninguna cobertura, ya que ésas pierden su validez.

Siniestros

En caso de siniestro, robo o hurto, se deberá dejar constancia inmediata en Carabineros de Chile y luego, comunicarse con nuestras oficinas para efectos del seguro dentro de un plazo no mayor a las 48 horas de ocurrido el siniestro. De otra forma, las coberturas contratadas inicialmente no serán aplicables. Asimismo, dentro del mismo plazo se debe enviar un mail a reservas@koyer.cl o cotizaciones@koyer.cl  con la siguiente información (fotocopias o fotografías):

  • Constancia o parte policial
  • Licencia de conducir del conductor
  • Cédula de identidad
  • Relato fidedigno de los hechos del siniestro.

 Mantenciones o problemas mecánicos:

En caso de que el vehículo en arriendo se encuentre cerca de su fecha programada de mantención o presente alguna anomalía en su funcionamiento durante su uso, el cliente tiene la obligación de dar aviso oportunamente a la sucursal asociada al vehículo para gestionar su ingreso a taller. Cualquier intervención al vehículo debe ser autorizada previamente por KOYER RENT A CAR.

Pérdida o extravío de documentos 

Si los documentos del vehículo arrendado no son devueltos a KOYER RENT A CAR al termino del arriendo, se aplicará un cargo adicional de $25.000 +IVA.

Combustible

  1. El vehículo deberá ser devuelto con el estanque de combustible tal como fue entregado al inicio del arriendo. De lo contrario, se cargará el reabastecimiento al valor por litro indicado en el contrato de arriendo.
  2. Para aquellos casos en los cuales se cargue un combustible distinto del requerido por el vehículo (diésel en lugar de gasolina o viceversa), los costos adicionales de limpieza de estanque, motor u otros daños implicados serán de responsabilidad del cliente.

Permiso de salida a Argentina

  1. El permiso de salida a Argentina permite a los clientes cruzar la frontera exclusivamente a Argentina con un vehículo KOYER a través de la documentación entregada (Formulario de Aduanas, Permiso Notarial, Seguro Obligatorio, certificado de Anotaciones Vigentes).
  2. Las personas de nacionalidad Argentina no podrán cruzar hacia Argentina con un vehículo arrendado en Chile salvo aquellos que acrediten residencia permanente por más de un año en Chile a través de un certificado emitido por el consulado respectivo.
  3. Una vez emitido el permiso no hay derecho a devolución.
  4. Este permiso debe ser solicitado con al menos 72 horas hábiles de anticipación. La información requerida debe ser entregada por el cliente a nuestro departamento de Reservas según el plazo antes indicado.
  5. Cada permiso comprende el plazo del total del arriendo hasta por treinta días, en caso de ampliar el arriendo por más días se debe cancelar nuevamente la totalidad del permiso e informar inmediatamente para gestionar el nuevo permiso.
  6. En caso de accidente en Argentina y/o Falla, el cliente debe gestionar el correspondiente servicio y su pago en el país vecino.
  7. En caso de siniestro, cierre de frontera por razones climáticas o de otra índole, el cliente continúa siendo responsable del vehículo y el contrato permanecerá abierto hasta que la unidad sea recibida en cualquier oficina de KOYER en Chile. Los costos de traslados, servicios de grúas, multas aduaneras, días adicionales de arriendo, etc., los deberá asumir el cliente.

Equipamiento adicional

  1. KOYER RENT A CAR no se hace responsable por los servicios o equipamientos adicionales que no hayan sido confirmados en la reserva.
  2. Los servicios o equipos adicionales están sujetos a disponibilidad y tienen un cargo asociado.

Pérdidas y Robos:

KOYER RENT A CAR no se responsabiliza por la pérdida y/o robo de objetos desde el interior de sus vehículos. A su vez, no se hace responsable por objetos olvidados en las sucursales o dentro del vehículo arrendado.

Cancelación de la Reserva

Reservas prepagadas que se efectuaron a través del sitio www.koyer.cl, sólo podrán ser anuladas por el Titular del arriendo y de la Tarjeta de Crédito con una anticipación superior a 72 horas previas a la fecha y hora del inicio del arriendo, en cuyo caso KOYER RENT A CAR sólo restituirá al cliente el 50% del precio total del arriendo convenido. Si el aviso de anulación se practica en un tiempo inferior al plazo señalado no se efectuará ningún reembolso de dinero, así como tampoco se efectuarán reembolsos, devoluciones de dineros o compensaciones por días de arriendo ya pagados y no utilizados. Tampoco se efectuarán restituciones de dinero cuando el arrendamiento no se lleve a cabo por el incumplimiento de las condiciones de arriendo establecidos por KOYER RENT A CAR (edad mínima del arrendatario y documentación requerida al momento de retirar el vehículo).

KOYER RENT A CAR confirms vehicle categories Not specific models, colors or brands.

Booking Requirements
  1. Identity card / valid passport.
  2. Current driver’s license.
  3. Driver over 23 years.
  4. Credit card for guarantee purposes. Credit Cards Accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners; The credit card holder must be present at the time of withdrawl and must have a valid driver’s license.
  5. credit card must have a limit authorized to cover guarantee deposit (600.000 CLP).
  6. Manual voucher signed blank at the beginning of the Booking as proof of the guarantee, for possible damages and / or additional not included in the rate.
  7. This documentation is mandatory regardless of the type of payment of the reservation.
  8. The data entered to generate the reservation are of complete and strict responsibility of the client, as well as the means of payment used, if applicable.
Included in rate

1. Free mileage.
2. Second driver at no cost.

Exclusions

1. A deductible/excess of UF40 + VAT applies throught the country and to all category of vehicle in case of theft, misappropriation or total loss of the Booking unit.
2. A deductible of UF30 + IVA applies throught the country and to any category of vehicle in case of own damages to the vehicle.
3. Damage to tires and chambers is excluded unless they result in damage compensable to the rest of the vehicle.
4. Damage to the windshield is excluded, in case of damage to the windshield, all of it must be paid.
5. Driving under the effects of alcohol and / or drugs does not access any coverage (for more information, see our Contract Annex).
6. Drivers not incorporated and / or specified in the contract of Booking involved in a sinestro: do not access any coverage, as those lose their validity.

Accidents

In the event of a loss or theft, the Carabineros of Chile must immediately record it and then communicate with our offices for insurance purposes within a period of no more than 48 hours after the incident occurred. Otherwise, the coverage initially contracted will not be applicable. Likewise, within the same period, an email must be sent to reservas@koyer.cl or cotizaciones@koyer.cl with the following information (copy or photographs):
• Proof or police department
• Driver’s license
• Identity card
• Reliable account of the facts of the incident.

Maintenance or mechanical problems

In case the Booked vehicle is near its scheduled maintenance date or presents an anormality in its operation during its use, the client has the obligation to give notice in due course to the branch associated with the vehicle to manage his entry to the workshop. Any intervention on the vehicle must be previously authorized by KOYER RENT A CAR.

Loss of documents

If the documents of the vehicle are not returned to KOYER RENT A CAR at the end of the Booking, it will apply an additional charge of $ 25,000 + VAT.

Fuel

1. The vehicle must be returned with the fuel tank as it was delivered at the beginning of the rent. Otherwise, the refueling will be charged to the value per liter indicated in the contact.
2. For those cases where a fuel other than that required by the vehicle is loaded (diesel instead of gasoline or vice versa), the additional costs of cleaning the tank, engine and other damages involved will be responsibility of the customer.

Permit To Cross the Border to Argentina

1. The Exit Permit to Argentina allows customers to cross the border exclusively to Argentina with a KOYER vehicle , throught the documentation provided (Customs Form, Notary Permit, Mandatory Insurance, Annotations Certificate Current).
2. Costumer with Argentinian nationality will not be able to cross to Argentina with a rented vehicle in Chile except those that have permanent residence for more than one year in Chile through a certificate issued by the respective consulate.
3. Once the permit has been issued there is no right to return.
4. This permit must be requested at least 72 business hours in advance. The required information must be delivered by the customer to our Reservation department according to the aforementioned deadline.
5. Each permit includes the term of the total of the Booking for up to thirty days, in case of extending the Booking for more days, the entire permit must be canceled again and immediately informed to manage the new permit.
6. In case of an accident in Argentina and / or damage to the car, the customer must manage the corresponding service and its payment in the neighboring country.
7. In case of accident, border closure for weather or other reasons, the customer remains responsible for the vehicle and the contract will remain open until the unit is received at any KOYER office in Chile. The costs of transfers, services of cranes, customs fines, additional days of rental, etc., must be assumed by the client.

Additional Equipment

1. KOYER RENT A CAR is not responsible for additional services or equipment that have not been confirmed in the reservation.
2. Additional services or equipment are subject to availability and have an associated fee.

Loss and Theft:

KOYER RENT A CAR is not responsible for the loss and / or theft of objects from the interior of its vehicles. At the same time, it is not responsible for forgotten items in the branches or inside the Booking vehicle.

Cancellation of reservation

Prepaid reservations made through the site www.koyer.cl, can only be canceled by the Rentholder and the Credit Card with an advance more than 72 hours prior to the date and time of the beginning of the Booking, in which case KOYER RENT A CAR will only reimburse the customer 50% of the total agreed rental price. If the annulment notice is practiced in a shorter time than the period indicated, no refund of money will be made, nor will refunds, money refunds or compensations be made for days of Booking already paid and not used. Nor will refunds be made when the Booking is not carried out due to non-compliance with the rental conditions established by KOYER RENT A CAR (minimum age of the tenant and documentation required at the time of removal of the vehicle).
